Wow, I just read through Mark 5 & 6. I love reading the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. I imagine how uncomfortable the disciples were when Jesus asked them to distribute the food to the people. After Jesus blessed the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, they began tearing up pieces to hand out to the people and there was more than enough, 12 baskets of food remaining after feeding the people. Did the bread just grow into their hands again? I mean...what does that even look like?
I was just thinking about the last post I put out, which was all the way back in the beginning of March, and how sometimes we feel like we don't have enough. Here is a perfect example of not having enough and look what God did with the food he blessed. If God's blessing your purpose, won't he provide enough to accomplish what it is you're looking for? What I'm looking for? I mean, what if the finances just keep regenerating in unexplainable ways? What if the hours keep regenerating and you have more than enough time? What if the manpower is regenerating over and over again? I mean, this is a miracle, but I believe in miracles.
It's a beautiful thought, and I'm excited to see how this looks in my life and in my husband's life. As we pursue our goals, whether it is our businesses, our family growing, joy, health, time with God; will all of be regenerated to be more than we ever needed in the first place? That just brings me back to wow.
Love it when I can see how God's miracles can show up in my life and see how it can be different.
Lord,
Please help me to see where you've regenerated life in me again and again. Help me to see the purpose you have for me and help me to find my purpose in you. I will put you first in my life. First in my time, first in my finances, first in my relationships, and first in my dreams. Help Mike and I and those in our families pursue you fully to find ourselves in you and find our purpose in you. Show us what it is that you have called us to do, so we can send demons packing, bring wellness to the sick, anoint others and heal their bodies (Mark 6:13). However it is that we are supposed to do that, help us see it and follow after you.
We love you and choose you.
Amen.
